Your Invisalign treatment will begin with a consultation where Dr. Mike McKenzie evaluates your oral health and together, you will customize a treatment plan using advanced digital imaging. Once your aligners are crafted, you’ll wear them for at least 20-22 hours a day, removing them only for eating, drinking, and flossing and brushing. Regular check-up appointments with Dr. McKenzie will be scheduled to monitor your progress and make any necessary adjustments.
About every 1-2 weeks, we’ll switch to a new set of aligners, each one gently moving your teeth toward a straighter position. As you approach the end of your treatment, Dr. McKenzie may provide refinement aligners to address any minor issues. After your treatment is complete, retainers will be created for you to help maintain your newly aligned teeth, and long-term follow-up appointments with Dr. McKenzie will ensure your smile remains beautiful and healthy!
